Cameroon has talent.
We're building the infrastructure.
Invollv Labs is the structured, affordable, Cameroonian academy for design, no-code and digital skills. We exist because the next generation of African builders deserves better than YouTube tutorials and overpriced foreign bootcamps.

Built in Cameroon
How Invollv Labs was born.
Buea, Cameroon, late 2025. A handful of working designers, developers and writers kept being asked the same question by juniors around town:
“How do I actually start?”
01 · The gap we kept hitting
There was no honest path for a young Cameroonian wanting to break into digital work. Foreign bootcamps cost millions of XAF, taught with American case studies, and never once mentioned Mobile Money, Wise transfers, or the SMEs across town that desperately needed a designer. YouTube taught tools, but never a career, no feedback, no community, no accountability. Universities were a decade behind the software clients actually pay for today.
The talent was clearly here. 65% of the population is under 25. People were learning Figma in cyber cafés between data bundles, watching tutorials at 2× speed, and still ending up stuck, because skill alone, without structure, mentorship and a real portfolio, doesn't get you paid.
02 · Why a “lab”, not a school
We didn't want to start an academy. Academies imitate universities, fixed curriculum, abstract theory, an exam at the end. The thing we needed was the opposite: a working lab. A place where working pros bring live client briefs into the room. A place where students ship real projects from week one, and the feedback comes from someone who shipped the same kind of work last month.
So we set up the Invollv Lab in Buea: physical classes, internet provided, mentors in the room. The structure of a programme, the energy of a studio.
03 · Why we exist today
Invollv Labs exists so that a smart, motivated young Cameroonian doesn't have to choose between leaving the country and giving up on a global career. We exist so that the design, code and writing the African web runs on can be produced, and paid for, locally.
We measure ourselves in portfolios shipped, retainers signed, first international clients won. Every cohort we run, the bar goes up. Every alumnus we keep mentoring after graduation is part of the proof.
Invollv Labs is the bridge. From zero to builder. From local to global. Without leaving home.
- Vision
To make Cameroon a digital innovation hub by empowering a generation of globally competitive builders.
- Mission
Research-backed digital skills education that takes Cameroonians from complete beginners to professional creators.
What makes Labs a laboratory.
Most academies behave like schools. We behave like a research lab, built around making, testing, learning.
We experiment.
Every cohort tests new formats, tools and curriculum. Not a textbook, a working lab.
We build in public.
Students ship work to real clients during the course. Our portfolio is collective.
We care, deliberately.
Mentorship is not a feature. It is the product. We invest in every student.
We compound.
Mentorship lasts beyond graduation. Alumni keep teaching, the network grows, the value compounds.
Built for impact, not just income.
Invollv Labs aligns with five UN Sustainable Development Goals, and we measure ourselves against them.
